US midterm election update: Safe seats in congressional Democratic caucus against AIPAC. The midterm elections in the United States take place on November 3rd. "so what? " you may be asking. People will often accurately point out that no matter which party is in power, the American war machine continues to reap souls around the world. That is true. America sucks. However, there are some encouraging signs that times are changing. An insurgent left-wing movement went on the attack during the 2026 Democratic primaries. They won a lot of races. As a result, there are a large number of incoming members of Congress who have rejected AIPAC funds and corporate PAC funds, all operating in "safe seats."
