The nature of the two major parties is pushing for the renewal of the elections. Because creating a coalition with the Arab parties means adhering to their demands and making concessions to make them form a coalition and become the majority bloc. However, the voters and main financiers of both parties do not want this to happen, because of the general racist sentiment towards the Arabs in Israel (of course).
