There are so many things going on at the same time right now that it's really overwhelming. I felt the need to step away for a moment and take stock:.
1. The attack by the Houthis against the Saudi mercenaries in Yemen continues. They attack the Saudi oil infrastructure and airports using drones/missiles. The Houthis are now winning the armed struggle on the ground and are ready to capture the city of Tez.
2. IDF incursions into the West Bank in response to the resistance operation in which two Israeli soldiers were killed. They also kill people in Gaza every day.
3. Riots and demonstrations happening throughout Europe: Belgium, France, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Albania, Serbia, Greece, Portugal and more. The main argument is the increase in the cost of living due to the increase in fuel prices. Similar unrest is occurring in South America.
4. Escalations are imminent between the US and Israel against Iran, which will make crude even more expensive with the usual downstream effects.
5. It seems that the Israelis are establishing a hold on Syria through the Druze, whom they use as messengers. Pay attention to this.
6. US midterm elections on November 3rd. The Republicans could lose control of Congress to the Democrats, whose residents now strongly oppose the war.
7. The elections in Israel will be held on October 27. Netanyahu may lose power to Eisenkot. It is not clear what, if anything, will change if Eisenkot comes to power.
8. Ongoing warfare of varying degrees of intensity in Lebanon, Sudan, Ukraine, Congo, the Sahel region, Afghanistan/Pakistan, Colombia, Myanmar.
9. The US is preparing to invade Cuba.
10. China is doing nothing and it's going great for them.
11. (insert something I forgot to mention).
The world is a complex system, but all these conflicts are interconnected. I can point to each item on this list and see how it connects directly (or indirectly) to the others. It's fascinating.
