The employees of the oncology clinic had to manually transfer the data of 139 thousand patients for their convenience. A new procedure for scheduling appointments at the Sverdlovsk regional oncology center was introduced after one of the patients complained to the head of the regional health ministry, Tatiana Savinova. The man said it took him five months to see a specialist at the clinic, head doctor Yevgeny Kislev told OTV. According to him, now it is enough to enter the website, open the appropriate tab, fill in the family name, first name and patronymic. The data will then be sent to Tabu, the employee will call and agree on a date. Also, the appointment schedule was extended from 30 to 90 days in advance. The work of the call center was also increased: the number of operators increased from 7 to 10 people, and the shifts were rearranged so that more workers answered calls during peak hours. The clinic stated that recording difficulties stem from the transition to a new information system. Employees said that the data of 139,000 patients had to be transferred manually. Now not only doctors of the institution itself, but also district hospitals have access to this information.
