An Azerbaijani arrived for a wedding in Yerevan: crossing the border took three hours.
The trip of a Russian citizen of Azerbaijani origin Turab Zaynalov to Armenia aroused interest in social networks.
The man told about his trip to Yerevan in a video published on the YouTube channel.
According to Zaynalov, he went to Armenia with his acquaintances to attend a friend's wedding. Before the trip, the man feared that his Azerbaijani origin might create difficulties in crossing the border.
His fears were partly justified: he had to spend about three hours at the border checkpoint. The border guards asked questions, especially, when he recently visited Azerbaijan. After verification, he was still allowed to enter the country.
While in Armenia, Zaynalov managed to visit several districts of Yerevan. He noted that some features of the Armenian capital reminded him of Baku.
