Gaza: A low pressure system floods about 70,000 displaced tents and collapses dozens of walls.

The system also brought down roofs of badly damaged houses within hours of arriving in the Gaza Strip. Khan Yunis Municipality spokesman Saib Lukan said more than 900,000 displaced people are at grave risk in low-lying areas west of Khan Yunis, with more than 60 centers in Al-Mawasi directly threatened by submersion, and rescue capabilities are few. The Ministry of Social Development in Gaza has set up a crisis cell, and its field teams are visiting flooded shelters to verify damage and urgent needs. The Grand Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalili, called on Muslims to rush to comfort and help the residents of Gaza.
