Saudi Arabia: The armed forces of Yemen attacked Riyadh, the financial center of King Abdullah. Explosions were heard in Riyadh. Yemen's armed forces also launched a separate offensive against the Najran region. The Saudi defense failed to intercept the attack on Riyadh, and fragments from the interceptor missiles fell on a school in the al-Arid neighborhood north of the city. The Aramco building was damaged, and alerts were activated in Al Ahsa, Dhahran and Abqaiq.
