Palestinian factions demand at least 600 trucks daily and call for international action to protect civilians. In a joint statement, Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, the Popular Fronts, the General Command, the Democratic Front, the Initiative, the Resistance Committees and the Fatah Democratic Reform Stream called on mediators and Arabs to ensure that the humanitarian protocol is implemented. They listed shelter and heating materials, caravans, civil defense equipment and rehabilitation supplies among the goods to enter. They also called on the international community to compel Israel to implement the decisions of the International Court of Justice, the cease-fire agreement and UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
