Media Center of the Judicial System: Hamid Rasi claimed in a phone call from prison: "No managing editor has ever been sentenced to prison for the charge of spreading falsehoods. Records and legal files show that managing editors of some media outlets, such as Ishar Solati, Fouad Sadagi, Nasreen Hassani and the late Hojat al-Islam Fomani and others, were tried and received convictions, including imprisonment, in cases of false distribution.
