The Revolutionary Guards published: strategic importance of intercepting an MQ-1 drone; from the failure of the patrol to the issue of suppressing the origin of the flight. The MQ-1C Gray Eagle ER UAV is an extended-range developed version of the Gray Eagle family, which belongs to the US Army. It is designed for long missions with increased flight endurance and advanced surveillance, reconnaissance and intelligence gathering equipment. The importance of the reported destruction of this family of UAVs is not limited to the monetary value of the aircraft; rather, the loss of any UAV could mean disruption of intelligence surveillance continuity, reduced reconnaissance capability, and increased operating costs for the enemy. The report of the destruction of the sixteenth MQ-1 over Kashm is significantly important from this point of view. Another important issue is identifying the source and mission pattern of US UAV operations. Continuous monitoring of the flight paths and identification of the source of the flight operations are carried out continuously by aerospace intelligence fighters, and this leads to a more accurate understanding of the enemy's support structure and intelligence-intelligence activity. Therefore, the suppression of the source of flight of these UAVs and the aggressive US bases throughout the region is possible only at the moment and at the will of the commanders of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.
