It is clear to us that there is a need for a formula to regulate military service, but we are now hearing voices calling to abandon it on the condition that we can overthrow Netanyahu. After what we went through in the last four years, in a government that relied on ultra-Orthodox parties, we realized that trusting the ultra-Orthodox is also impossible. I have great disappointment in my ultra-Orthodox political friends, who did not understand that at this difficult stage they should have acted differently. After October 7th they had some awakening, but when the immediate state of emergency calmed down a bit, they abandoned it, and so did Netanyahu.
