The Supreme Court of Israel ruled to return the body of the prisoner Walid Ahmed, 17 years old, who died in Megiddo Ahmed Prison, Masilwad, east of Ramallah, was arrested on September 30, 2024 and died in Megiddo Prison on March 24, 2025, while in custody. The ruling followed intensive legal efforts, including numerous petitions, by the Prisoner Affairs Commission's legal unit through its lawyer, Nadia Dejani.
