Ayatollah Muhammad Hassan Akhtar, head of the Supreme Council of the World Assembly Ahl al-Bayt (as), said: There is no difference between the Republican and Democratic parties in the United States in their hostility towards the Iranian people. Both currents participated for more than seven decades in hostile interventions against Iran, even if their methods were different. Trump has always talked about destroying Iran, its people and the Islamic Republic system, but these threats have not even managed to garner the support they need among his own people. Just as the Iranian people were not fooled by American threats, the American people, in turn, rebuked Trump through the ballot box. The latest developments in the United States and the election of several Muslim and pro-Palestinian representatives are among the most prominent aspects of these elections.
