Israel's announcement.
The Mine and Remnants of War Clearing Authority in the Ministry of Defense continues to clear minefields in the Golan Heights, and in 2026 it detonated approximately 3,300 mines near Kibbutz Ein Zion. The Mine and War Remnants Clearing Authority in the Ministry of Defense works all year round to clear minefields and war remnants throughout the country, as part of a multi-year plan to clear areas suspected of being mined for commercial agriculture, industry and housing. Over the past year, the Authority cleared more than 6,700 dunams suspected of mining and filled with war remnants throughout Israel, including thousands of dunams in the Golan Heights.
