The Revolutionary Guards says that two oil tankers and a tug boat caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz. The Guards said that one tanker hit a naval mine while crossing a crossing from the south of the strait and stopped after a fire broke out. A second tanker stopped after a large fire broke out on its way out of the eastern part of the strait, and a tugboat approaching for help also caught fire. The Guard also said its electronic warfare unit took control of two U.S. Lucas drones, landed them and intercepted them. It accused the United States of pushing ships through a mined passage.
