Former Mossad senior official: Israel may launch a surprise attack to kill Iran's military leadership Oded Eran, former deputy director of the Mossad for global operations, said Israel may launch a surprise attack similar to the operation in 2024 that blew up Hezbollah's communications devices in Lebanon and Syria. He said the goal may be to kill four Iranian leaders who he believes are the real centers of power: Revolutionary Guards Commander Ahmed Wahidi, Basij Forces Commander Hossein Tab, Iran's Chief of Staff Ali Abdulahi and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Razai. He added that Israel has intelligence and military assets that it may use in the near future.
