Extensive fire at Russia's Novokuybyshevsk refinery. Satellite images from Planet Labs on October 30 show thick black smoke from a widespread fire at the Novosibirsk refinery in Russia's Samara region, an incident that occurred following a drone strike attributed to Ukraine. The smoke covered a large part of the industrial complex, making it difficult to accurately assess the extent of the damage. This refinery belongs to Rosneft and has an annual refining capacity of approximately 8.8 million tons of oil.
