An IDF Humvee was stolen from a military base near Kiryat Routine checks in a military unit in southern Israel revealed that the vehicle was missing, and the Department of Military Investigations opened an investigation. Israeli military officials estimate that it was stolen for criminal purposes, apparently to simulate military movements in the border areas, and fear that it could be used elsewhere while impersonating a military vehicle.
