The US Central Command commander claims: This week I visited our forces in the Middle East and saw oil tankers crossing the Strait of Hormuz. Revolutionary Guard forces are no longer in the Strait of Hormuz after having monitored it for decades. We have removed Iranian mines from the Strait of Hormuz and our forces are vigilant to ensure freedom of passage through it. We've helped our Gulf partners move more than 1.5 billion barrels of oil since the summer.
