US deportation deal with Cameroon includes $35 million in military aid to a unit accused of war crimes The Trump administration approved the $35 million in military aid as part of an agreement for Cameroon to take in immigrants deported from the United States. Washington has previously suspended aid to the unit due to allegations of war crimes, torture and human rights violations. Cameroon has received flights with deportees since December, at least 36 people so far, who are not Cameroonian citizens but were transferred there from other countries.
