Taiwan: Army adds iCOVER crisis psychological training to new 10-day CTC 2.0 course Taiwan military calculations show that a psychological crisis in one soldier can lead another soldier to stop fighting to help them, so a unit of three to five people can lose 40 to 50 percent of its combat effectiveness without casualties. The course simulates war conditions, including constant pressure, night alarms, sudden attacks, information chaos, lack of sleep and physical exhaustion. All new soldiers will be trained this way, and then training will be instituted in all operational units, preparing for the early hours of a potential conflict with China.
