Sisi: The comprehensive Egyptian-Russian strategic partnership and its major projects, primarily the Dabaa nuclear power plant and the Suez Canal Economic Zone, constitute a foundation on which investment in Egypt and the African continent can be built. Egypt believes that its future is linked to the future of the African continent. Achieving sustainable development requires a more just international system. The voice of the African continent must be present in international institutions and the Security Council, which needs reform. Africa's security and stability are essential conditions for the fulfillment of its people's aspirations. We are very concerned about the escalation of conflicts on the African continent. Egypt confirms its categorical rejection of any attempt to undermine the unity of Sudan. We call for unifying efforts to end the war in Sudan. Egypt relies mainly on the Nile River and gives importance to transboundary water. Transboundary waters should not be a source of tension, but a source of understanding and cooperation.
