The Israeli company SCD has developed an intermediate wave infrared detector with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels for tactical FPV drones and stray munitions. This detector features a pixel size of 5 µm and weighs 0.35 kg, which significantly reduces power consumption while providing exceptionally clear thermal vision for small UAVs.
