Europe and Ukraine are accelerating the search for Starlink alternatives. The Finnish companies ICEYE and Nokia, in cooperation with Ukraine, are developing an independent system, with plans to launch in 2028. The French company Eutelsat is also intensifying its competition against Starlink. The search for alternatives was accelerated by American restrictions that hindered the operation of Ukrainian UAVs.
