The conference of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Moscow# and the meetings it witnessed between Putin, Bezheshkian and the Emir of Qatar reveal features of a new strategic engineering for energy security and navigation. The agreement on long-term contracts, dealing with the "terror of the naval blockade" and the development of alternative transportation networks, at the same time as Moscow's declaration that the region is not dependent on American directives, represents a change towards the formation of an independent economic and security umbrella that empties the planned western pressure policy and establishes new balances in the region.
