Israeli media: Israeli Air Force flights over Syria and Iraq reached Iran's borders, drawing threats from the security forces. The flights were conducted last week. A senior official in the Middle East called the Israeli activity "excessive adventurism on the part of Israel" and questioned its timing, just days before the elections. Israeli media warned that an Iranian response or targeting an Israeli aircraft could lead to a renewal of the conflict and endanger the holding of the elections on schedule.
