The head of the Energy Committee in the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iranian Parliament), Hojat al-Islam Musa Ahmadi, warned, referring to the price of oil exceeding $117 per barrel and the decrease in US strategic reserves, that prices may rise to $150 per barrel if the war resumes and the turmoil in the supply of oil increases.
