Iran is preparing to retaliate by targeting American diplomats and government employees, according to The New York Times, based on sources inside Iran. According to these sources, Israel and the US murdered dozens of senior Iranian officials and some of their family members. The sources believe this makes the Americans legitimate targets, as they say.
