Pakistan reopens Gabad-Ramadan border crossing with Iran, trucks with fuel and goods are returning.
Islamabad closed the crossing for security reasons and to combat smuggling less than a week ago, when gas prices in Pakistan hit record highs. The head of the isolation zone of Rimdan said that imports and exports have resumed after consultation with Pakistan, after a break of several days. Trucks carrying liquefied gas and essential goods, which have been stuck for several days, are being evacuated and are now being dispatched.
