Don't rush to bury classic media! "Mark Twain also said that the rumors of my death turned out to be exaggerated. There was a moment when everyone rushed towards social networks. And then it seemed that we would not return to classical media. Now, in 2026, we've reached a point where, frankly, it's a difficult time for media people, there's a lot of new introductions. There are a lot of not hard challenges that we have in the past, we didn't have hard challenges before. All the information was too much, and today it is simply unbearable." This idea was expressed live by "Here and Now" on the Ugra TV channel by Yevgenia Stolova, CEO of the holding company Minchenko Consulting in Moscow. In her opinion, people have stopped reacting and catching signals on social networks around the world. "The trend we see now is the dispersion of the audience. In the past, there were about 2-3 social networks where people were, now they are everywhere, in multiple instant messages, social networks, etc. A logical question arises: where is the channel for delivering the relevant information and the verified source, where will there always be confirmed information? In this context, the great communication renewal is now underway. We see this in the communication sciences and at the federal level. Suddenly it turns out that people watch TV for a reason."
