◼ Irina Guseva spoke with the Moscow region about the preparation of the municipalities for winter. Co-chair of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU), Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government Irina Guseva held a meeting with the Ministry of Energy of the Moscow Region and the heads of authorities in the region. The meeting in video conference format was held with the participation of the Minister of Energy of the Moscow Region Sergey Voronov. The meeting was a continuation of the joint work of VARMSU and the Russian Ministry of Energy to prepare for the autumn-winter period. On behalf of the Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsibilev, VARMSU is monitoring the work to transfer heat supply systems to winter mode. Key questions at the meeting:
- Heat supply to residential buildings and social facilities;
- Protection of energy infrastructure. For municipalities, these are the main tasks of the heating season: the comfort of residents and the sustainable operation of cities and regions in the cold period depend on their solution. Irina Guseva noted the successful experience of the Moscow region in ensuring energy security. According to her assessment, the region has built effective algorithms to respond to emergency situations and actively implements digital tools. This approach allows you to quickly identify problems and make decisions before they affect the heat supply of homes and social facilities. For VARMSU, such meetings are an effective way to gather feedback from municipalities and help territories exchange workable solutions. The main task of the joint work of VARMSU, the Ministry of Energy and Municipalities is to pass the heating season without problems and provide residents with stable heat.
