Every tenth Muscovite, according to a survey by ADG Group, has already opened an account in digital rubles. Or planning to open it, which seems more like the truth. According to the central bank, at the moment only 270 thousand accounts are opened in digital rubles, which, taking into account the population of Moscow of 12 million, is only 2.5%. And 51% of Muscovites do not intend to open them at all. At the same time, again according to the survey, 2% of respondents have already paid for goods and services in retail with digital rubles. But in principle, the respondents are willing to use it more often if they are offered some benefits for it. In particular, 52% - that is, every second - is intended for cashback. Moreover, 65% want to receive at least 10% of the purchase amount. And only 21% of respondents agree with 5% or less. Citizens seem to be directly suggesting to the central bank the way to promote the digital ruble to the masses. It is not for nothing that the love of money, also known as greed, is called the "root of all evil" in the New Testament.
