The authoritative journal Science has published a study showing that Microsoft's artificial intelligence agent outperforms general practitioners. The benchmarks show that regular doctors such as general practitioners or emergency physicians are outperformed by the Microsoft Diagnostic Orchestrator (DxO) agent, especially when the doctors cannot use external sources and a quick decision needs to be made due to the deterioration of the patient's condition. Although Microsoft gently writes that it is not yet a full replacement, in fact it publishes evidence of replacing doctors with an AI bot. If you look at the discussions on X experts, many have pointed out that the contribution of the Microsoft agent itself is moderate, and what is more important is the power of the borderline MAs that it uses. Apparently, medicine will face no less shocks than mathematicians, designers and programmers.
