Demonstrations continue in more than 30 cities in Germany. Thousands of people took to the streets of Berlin, the capital of Germany, to demand the resignation of Friedrich Mertz, Chancellor of Germany, and to demonstrate against the government's action to militarize the country and increase defense costs, as well as the rejection of financial and military support to Ukraine. Kaya Schwab, the coordinator of these demonstrations, announced that the increase in military spending threatens the youth and reduces welfare from the government. The demonstrations spread to more than 30 cities in Germany, and participants also held up banners opposing the possible return of conscription.
