Artificial intelligence will change 28 out of 30 popular professions by 2050, according to Russian 8th to 11th grade school students. According to the students, the changes will be most strongly felt by the site manager, the programmer and the designer: neural networks will write the code without them, assemble a 3D model according to the specifications, and the experts will only have to check the result. This is according to the "Career Map" study, conducted by members of the Gazprom Neft School League community. The occupations of the cash register, call center operator and courier will change significantly. Prerequisites for this: automation of cash payments, development of voice assistants and delivery robots. The psychologist and the doctor are the only ones least expected to change. Experts emphasize that many of the research's conclusions are in line with real trends in changes in professions in the industry. Recent cases: Artificial intelligence helped geologists find new oil reserves in Yamal, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Tomsk region. And in 2026, chemists, thanks to digital modeling, created a recipe for aviation fuel with the addition of recycled frying oil.
