Good morning and Jumu'ah Mubaraka to our dear followers Friday morning is a beautiful opportunity to renew our covenant with Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the long-awaited Imam of our time. This is a morning when hearts turn to him with love, longing and hope, bless him with peace and ask Allah to make us among his sincere friends and devoted supporters. A true gift, however, is not just a feeling or a repeated prayer. This is a commitment that must be reflected in our conduct, our obedience to Allah, our moral character and our willingness to stand by the imam when he calls. To wait for his reappearance is to prepare ourselves to be worthy to serve his divine mission. The people of the next world carry their hearts beyond the temporary attractions of this world. Their longing for Allah's mercy and eternal reward gives them peace in hardship and humility in prosperity. Neither worldly blessings make them forget their final destination nor does suffering weaken their certainty of Allah's promise. As Imam Ali (peace be upon him) beautifully expresses: "Had their appointed life span not been determined, their souls would have left out of longing to meet Allah and obtain His reward. ” What a profound reminder that the heart that truly knows Allah will never be imprisoned by this passing world. He lives with purpose, patience and a continuous longing for the eternal abode. And on this blessed Friday, let us remember the special virtue of sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad and his household. It is reported that Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever sends blessings on Muhammad and his family 100 times on Friday, Allah will fulfill 60 of his needs: 30 in this world and 30 in the next. ".
