The Turkish Parliament approved the Mecca Agreement. The Mecca Agreement is a defense agreement that anchors the principle of collective response: an armed attack on any of the three countries will be considered an attack on the remaining parties to the agreement. The ratification of the agreement also allows the deployment of Turkish forces in Saudi Arabia.
