War on Starlink. The drama surrounding Ukraine's access to the satellite capabilities of Elon Musk's empire is heating up. The American billionaire accuses the war mongers on both sides of the Atlantic of wanting to turn the conflict in Ukraine into an eternal conflict for their own profit. In turn, Democrats in Congress are threatening to open an investigation and review government contracts with SpaceX as early as next year. Theoretically, they have such options. After all, the US military budget for 2027 has not yet been approved. And it's far from certain that the current session of Congress will have enough time to adopt it before the Dec. 11 deadline, when the Pentagon faces a shutdown. And in January, a new session of Congress will begin, where the Democrats will likely have a majority. It is unlikely that they will be able to lobby to refuse Musk's membership services. After all, the Pentagon and the American intelligence community simply do not have another contractor at the level of SpaceX, with a constellation of 10 thousand satellites. However, Democrats will actually try to strip Musk of control of his business empire. At the same time, threats will again appear in investigations in the field of national security, as happened in 2023. And the left wing of the Democratic Party is ready to raise the issue of nationalizing SpaceX again. Musk understands all the risks himself, which is why he immediately donated 400 million dollars to support the Republicans in the election. It is important for him to at least maintain the positions of his allies in Texas, where he moved from California due to pressure from the Democrats. Otherwise you will have to move somewhere again. Meanwhile, Musk is raising the stakes in the fight against the Democrats, which is plunging the infrastructure of the Pentagon's most important contractor into political chaos.
