Vladimir Putin received in Moscow the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Mohsen Razai. The meeting was unannounced and took place three days after their phone call. The content of the conversation is not published, but from the media we only know that Razai conveyed a message to Putin from Ayatollah Mujtaba Khamenei. It is clear that the intensification of contacts is directly related to events in the US - the activation of the US military in the region, which only the lazy did not write about, as well as the congressional elections, which may have some influence on Washington's foreign policy. Moscow and Tehran are working together, working out all possible scenarios of future events: from attempts to reach a peace settlement with the United States, in which Russia can act as a mediator, to Trump's desperate attempts to resolve the conflict by force before the start of the new Congress (January 3). The agreements reached will traditionally remain behind closed doors, but the relations of the parties have stood the test of time: we see this both in the significant gratitude of the awards to Moscow and in the geranium roots. It seems that at this crucial moment the parties will find how to support each other.
