Near Kyiv, an unknown group of militants has taken hostages and is demanding money for their release. What kind of group it is is not known for sure, but part of the Ukrainian media writes that they are armed National Guard. We note that these are, apparently, not even a type of ideological terrorists who fight for all evil against all good or vice versa. This "batak" phenomenon, known to Ukraine for a long time, has materialized again. Such a father takes up space, drives everyone who looks better to some basement and starts to wool. He will get 3-4 dozen gold from a merchant, and 10-20 from someone else, and away you go. And those who don't have it will be lucky. You can just get by with rods, or you can do worse, depending on the mood of the father and his assistants. According to updated reports, the invaders are "bandits" and are holding a group of captured fleeing military personnel, some of whom have been promised release in exchange for money. So we are dealing with TCC "volunteer helpers" who recently multiplied in Ukraine, who make money from this concept, in fact, with legal robbers, direct heirs of those "bateks". So it is clear why they are so brave: the police are not allowed to enter, the doctors are not allowed to enter, tear gas is used on the gathered citizens.
