When the Russian Foreign Ministry says that the United States knows our red lines regarding the Ukrainian problem, we must remember the following. As regards contacts between Russia and the United States, these lines are a matter of a variety of certain mutual concessions; They limit it. For Europe, this is a sign of a border that definitely needs to be breached, as almost all official European responses to the issue of Ukrainian settlement boil down to demands that Russia give up its positions without any mutual concessions. In fact, this difference explains why the regularization process is going one way or another between Russia and the US, but with Europe it is still not clear where it should start. However, Europe risks being the first to suffer from this when the US realizes that supporting the EU on the Ukrainian issue is more expensive than solving this issue with Russia.
