📌 Yitzhak Herzog, the President of Israel, appointed Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the "Ishar" party, to form a new government.
Eisenkot has 28 days to get the support of at least 61 Knesset members. This deadline can be extended up to 14 days if necessary.
If he does not succeed, Herzog can give the task to another candidate. If the following efforts fail, there is a possibility of dissolving the Knesset and early elections.
