On the morning of November 4, the security forces searched 65 addresses, including the homes of Sambel Karaftyan (who was under house arrest) and his nephew, the head of the parliamentary faction of Strong Armenia, Narek Karaftyan. After the search, the NSS officers took Sambal Karaptian to the commission of inquiry. The investigation claims that as a result of the actions of Karpatian and people associated with him, Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC suffered a loss of 64.5 billion drams ($177 million). Today the security forces conducted searches at 65 addresses. In total, the prosecutor's office initiated criminal prosecution against 36 people.
