Joint statement of the political forces of the Armenian opposition The opposition forces announced the establishment of a national association. This was stated in a joint statement of political forces. "We, the undersigned political forces of Armenia, understand the seriousness of the fatal challenges facing the Armenian people and the Armenian state, despite differences in approaches and disagreements on a number of issues.
We announce the establishment of a national association, and define its main goals as follows: postponement of the imposition of the Aliyev Constitution; Peace without unilateral concessions and territorial losses; Defense of the Armenian National Identity and the Holy Apostolic Church; Restoring democratic freedoms and rights. The undersigned political forces agree to join forces in order to create an atmosphere of social unity around priority national goals and to face the challenges facing our country.
We call on all political forces, public figures and government to join this national association."
