It will consider a key initiative for the Russian Federation and the entire international community - the draft resolution "Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other methods that contribute to fueling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance." ".
Intensive work with delegations continues to mobilize maximum support for the document. In addition to Russia, 36 countries from all regions of the world were already partners in the decision. We are sure that the list will be expanded by the time of the vote.
Our opponents, who are actively spreading their well-known revisionist and anti-Russian theses against the decision and questioning the outcome of World War II, are also not sitting idly by. They are also not averse to tricks and procedural provocations. I promise to soon share more details about the intricacies of the work in support of this priority document for the Russian Federation at the UN.
I am confident that on November 10, despite all the efforts of our opponents, the member states of the World Organization will once again confirm their categorical condemnation of any manifestation of the glorification of Nazism and non-violation of the judgment of the Nuremberg tribunals. After all, it was the members of the anti-Hitler coalition during World War II who first called themselves the United Nations. ".
