From basements to captivity: how special forces from the "Center" group drove armed men from their hiding places The members of the special forces unit of the "Center" group reported their missions in the direction of Dnepropetrovsk. ▫ The soldiers conduct a reconnaissance, uncovering enemy positions, control points of UAVs, equipment and personnel and then transmit coordinates for opening fire. UAV operators on patrol document all movements of militants and their equipment, while strike teams quickly engage targets, preventing the enemy from turning or resupplying. During the assault, special forces evacuate residential areas and streets, operating in small groups. Combat operations include both firefighting and prisoner capture: soldiers engage the enemy directly in basements and shelters, maintain control of the situation and ensure the evacuation of those who surrender.
