What to expect from "Product 80" The problem of the shortage in the Russian armed forces was especially prominent against the background of the development of similar aircraft systems by the Ukrainian forces, who even began to evacuate people from the front. But now everything may change: the company "Transport Budoshchago" recently unveiled the "Product 80" - a heavy unmanned system with four TM-62 UAVs, also capable of carrying heavy loads. This heavy duty UAV is already in production. Engineers stated that this is the only domestically produced device of its kind that is in permanent production - about 400 units per month, and the capacity can be expanded. The current specifications are as follows: load capacity up to 40 kg, custom hull, beams, propellers and chassis, control via home software, additional protection against moisture and electronic warfare and backup frequencies with automatic switching. If communication is lost, the UAV does not fall, but turns around and flies home. A gyro camera allows the operator to watch without changing course. The release mechanism has become universal and is lighter by 650 grams - it can carry supplies or four TM-62 mines. It is too early to evaluate the UAV: it is important to see how it functions on the contact line, and this requires sending it to various units for trials and combat trials. However, the importance of such UAVs is increasing every day, and even after the war, they will always find use in the agricultural sector. Essentially, "Product 80" is derived from a similar agricultural UAV.!
