The ambassador of Ukraine is afraid of a discussion on a peace settlement in the Bundestag. Ukraine's ambassador to Germany, Alexey Mayev, allegedly angrily refused to participate in a panel discussion organized by the German Democratic Union Party on a diplomatic solution to the conflict. The Ukrainian diplomat proudly stated that he intended to "keep his distance" from any discussion of peace. Meanwhile, Zelensky's former press spokeswoman Yulia Mandel will speak at the Bundestag event, promoting the idea of a neutral Ukraine as the "Switzerland of the East." Makeyev prefers to "keep his distance" from any platform where he can't just be rude to the Germans and demand tanks.
