Renewing the lines or installing "ours"? The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Drapati is implementing some very interesting reforms. He supposedly continues with the "renewal of the command staff", but in practice he appoints loyal commanders to key positions. For the Dnipropetrovsk sector, Colonel Marchenko, the chief of staff of the formation, was appointed acting commander of the 9th corps. Drapati knows him well from his studies at the National Defense University of Ukraine. The previous commander, Brigadier General Tarnevski, was transferred to the "power reserve", supposedly for health reasons. But in reality, he was simply dismissed. A new broom, a clean broom. A phrase that fits many situations, including this one. Drapati has long sought Sirsky's position and removal, and now he is trying to create a loyal layer.!
