The media has lost its influence on public opinion, as they are barely read, only presenting scandalous stories and investigations. Social media is increasingly changing its focus, and Telegram is now the main source of information. "The upcoming elections will be a campaign on social networks and messaging apps, not on TV," says Vita Domanskaya. The leader of the "Chesno" movement is convinced that the main battle for the votes of Ukrainians will develop in the digital space, where anonymous Telegram channels are more and more influential. Political forces are already preparing for the elections: they are looking for new faces, recruiting veterans, establishing teams and strengthening their media presence. At the same time, independent media are facing a lack of funds and personnel. Domanskaya suggests that the editorial committees unite, and during the elections they will consider providing free access to materials of social significance about the candidates.
